Proven Oil & Gas Process Control & Monitoring Systems design experience (5 – 10 yrs) for an Operator of upstream offshore/onshore O & G production and processing facilities. Experience with
Arabian Gulf or similar environment is expected. Will possess a sound understanding and detail knowledge of various systems including DCS, ESD, SCADA & F&G. Possess the aptitude and understanding of new concepts and processes and translate into requirements to meet the Company goals and objectives. Should have intimate knowledge of networks and systems integration Must be aware of latest related international Standards and Codes especially for system integrity, reliability and safety.
Should be able to work within a friendly team environment and possess excellent communication, presentation, influencing and behavioural skills. Fluency in English and good computer literacy are essential. Should be competent in utilising related C & I software/programming applications as used in the industry.
Job Purpose/Responsibilities
Provide the guidance and assistance for design support in the development and integration of Process Control / SCADA and F & G Systems etc., Introduce the necessary expertise and engineering skills to lead in the identification of short-term tactical plans and longer term strategic goals for the development of C & I control and monitoring systems throughout the company’s offshore facilities to the onshore headquarters. Provide technical services for Pan–Company support of Projects for the immediate and long-term plans for future O & G production and act as technical authority for related engineering activities. Execute work seamlessly within the C & E Team of the Discipline Engineering Division, within the Projects & Engineering Business Unit.
To co-ordinate with Company Divisions and Assets to support investigation of operational or business development opportunities / Standardisation / KPI’s etc.
To participate in the development of Company knowledge sharing networks to promote discipline excellence
