ADMA-OPCO ran its business through three distinct units, the Operations Group, the Technical Group and the Administration Group, each being entrusted with a clearly defined range of responsibilities.
In May 2001, however, after months of study and preparation, a new organizational structure was introduced. This asset-based re-organization was designed to improve efficiency, to provide more focus on key missions, to reduce interface between groups and to create a performance driven organization.
Under the terms of the re-organisation,, three business units were established: the Production Business Unit, development Business Unit, and Drilling/Support Business Unit, in addition to Administration Services which provides back-up to aforementioned three Business Units. The re-structuring was successfully completed in late 2001.
In 2007, a new Business Unit was established in order to meet the considerable challenge of increasing Production and consequent increase in Projects. Known as Projects & Engineering, the newly established unit is responsible for delivery of the define and execute stages of all Projects.
The current asset-based team structure is one of four components of performance driven organization. The other two are establishment of a comprehensive performance management system, and the creation of a performance-orientated organizational culture.
ADMA-OPCO is making significant strides in meeting future challenges by changing into a performance driven organization based on competency, learning, empowerment, team approach, effective utilization of the know-how is possesses, and acknowledge the potential of its employees.
Since transformation to a performance driven organization, ADMA-OPCO monitors progress using a measurable set of performance indicators. Four sets of indicators are related to production, HSE, values and people. Under these categories, major indicators are measured related to production targets, safety, emission, expenditure, people development, and major projects.
Centralized direction is our term for the strategic goals, values and business behaviors that unify our company. Objectives, values and behaviors are shared and understood by all our people in every part and at every level of our organization.
Decentralized implementation is a way of working to meet our goals that empowers people at an operational level. It makes the four business units – Production, Development, Drilling Operating and Administration blending with our business community of companies - accountable to, but largely autonomous towards the corporate management.
