| Old timers still remember, for instance, the ADMA Clinic' on the then Airport Road, which made a significant contribution to the health and care of the city's inhabitants. Another major contribution was the now obsolete Training Center, where scores of young Nationals studied before they traveled abroad for higher education. This was before there were institutions for further education in the country. The center continued to operate until early 1980s'. |
